Welcome to the official website of the International Airport Development Company Limited (IADCL). The IADCL is a private limited liability company wholly owned by the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It was incorporated under the Companies Act of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The company's mandate is to spearhead and coordinate all matters relating to the financing and construction of the Argyle International Airport and arranging for the effective management of the airport on its completion. Work on the Argyle International Airport began shortly after the Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves's historic speech on August 8th, 2005. In that speech, the Prime Minister sets out the government's commitment to the airport project and how the project is to be financed.
Full scale asphalt paving of the Argyle International Airport (AIA) runway got underway on Thursday April 9th, 2015, in the 3rd kilometer of the project.
Coming off the heels of the completion of pavement of the turning heads and the stop ways, attention is now turned to the asphalt paving of the runway.
The International Airport Development Company (IADC) on Wednesday April 8th 2015, played hosts to the Vice President of Venezuela, His Excellency Jorge Arreaza, his wife Rosa Chavez, daughter of the late President Hugo Chavez and their entourage from Venezuela.
