Welcome to the official website of the International Airport Development Company Limited (IADCL). The IADCL is a private limited liability company wholly owned by the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It was incorporated under the Companies Act of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The company's mandate is to spearhead and coordinate all matters relating to the financing and construction of the Argyle International Airport and arranging for the effective management of the airport on its completion. Work on the Argyle International Airport began shortly after the Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves's historic speech on August 8th, 2005. In that speech, the Prime Minister sets out the government's commitment to the airport project and how the project is to be financed.
KTI Supports Argyle Airport Project
With the moral support for the construction of the Argyle International Airport at an all time high among Vincentians, the financial support for the project continues to grow here at home as more and more people seek to own the airport.
Following a tour of the airport site this morning June 14th, 2013, by staff and students of the Kingstown Technical Institute (KTI), the staff led by Principal Mr. Bertillon Hamilton, handed over a cheque for $1,000.00 to go towards the airport’s construction. According to Mr. Hamilton, they recognize that students from technical institutes such as the KTI stand to benefit in a big way from the construction and subsequent operation of the Argyle International Airport.
Returnees raising funds for AIA
As support for the construction of the Argyle International Airport continues to rise the key to a brand new 2013 Kia Sportage was on Tuesday May 28th, 2013, handed over to President of Returning Nationals SVG, Mrs. Nyoka Clouden. This represents the first prize in their upcoming grand raffle to raise funds for the construction of the Argyle International Airport.
